Kommetjie Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA9th Jan, 2024 - It's hard to believe but we finally have proper lights on both tennis courts. This extends the available booking time considerably and will be particularly noticable when the days get shorter. This was all possible due to the income from the membership and fees and also coaching lessons. Please note that the very latest time to switch off the lights is 10pm! 30th Jan, 2023 - It is with great pleasure to be able to say that we finally now have two lovely courts in Kommetjie which are used by Kommetjie tennis club, the tennis academy and the primary school. 11th Jun, 2022 - It's super exciting to be a able to say that we have the finances together to build the second court!Thank you to everyone who has contributed!!!We still need some patience as we are waiting on approval as the courts are on government land but it looks like we've jumped most of the hurdles and are on the last straight.The white prefab building will be moved on Friday June 17th paving the way for the court…

7th Dec, 2021 - On Saturday and Sunday we had a windy, sometimes drizzly but always fun time. Teams of Family members battled it out against each other other and the elements!Congratulations to the winners Jeremy & Adam, Josh & Shane and malcom & Sean! 14th Oct, 2021 - It's good to hear that school matches are happening again as Kommetjie take on Fish Hoek this Friday at Fish Hoek Primary School! We hopefully look forward to spectators being allowed back to support soon.
